Air Safety Secretary (Central Level)

Inspection , follow–up and surveillance operational services and airworthiness at a central level provided through the flight standard department and its corresponding operational groups as well as the airworthiness department were recertified under ISO quality standard 9001:2000 by the Colombian Technical Standards Institute called ICONTEC as a recognition for making a big effort and performing an excellent job.

Quality Standard ISO 9001:2000 is a result of assessment and auditing processes that took place up until April 20th, 2007, task performed by experts from ICONTEC, that guarantees safe flights implementing the highest international safety standards in terms of procedures and quality in operational safety surveillance. 

This recognition to service quality confirms the responsibility level which the Air Safety Secretary has shown to keep safe flights in our country. As consequence of this customers feel more confident when flying.

SGC Financial Processes Performed by An Integrated Information System Called PAF (Treasury / Accounting / budget / Invoicing / Payables)

The Colombian Aeronautical Authority obtained an ISO 9001:2000
certification in January 2004 for all financial processes executed through the PAF system and a recertification was given to the company on March 9 ,2007 by BUREAU VERITAS .

BUREAU VERITAS pointed out the Fact that the Colombian Aeronautical Authority possesses a quality management system that complies with the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard in the implementation, maintenance and continuously improving processes. They also highlighted how highly qualified staff employed by the company is and the informatics tools involved in executing the processes, this recertification is valid through March 9th 2010.
